AMOR and Partners joined the celebrations of World Mangrove Day with the National Motto: Mangal Restored, Mozambique Resilient.
In the meantime, the mangrove cleaning day was held and the residents, most of whom are fishermen from Ndjalane beach, were sensitized about the importance of preserving the mangrove and its contribution to the environment.
Residents were advised to continue preserving the environment by avoiding leaving solid waste in the mangrove because it harms small species and also the environment.
