Within the scope of the project “Citizens Friends of Environment” implemented by AMOR – Mozambican Recycling Association and financed by the European Union, took place on Saturday, the 11th of this month, the closing event of the 2021 school year activities of the Environment and Citizenship Clubs – CAC’s, at 9 am in the courtyard of Primary School of Palmeiras, in Beira city.
During the event, the CAC’s of Three Primary Schools (Palmeiras, Longo Alcance and Jorge José Traquino) and Nine Secondary Schools (Manga, Matadouro, Marrocanhe, João XXIII, Estoril, Ponta-Gêa, Mateus Sansão Mutemba, Muchatazina and 25 de Setembro) presented theatrical play, poetry, singing, modern and traditional dance and a parade of handicraft items.
At the end, AMOR awarded the 128 students present with the delivery of Certificates for their commitment and dedication to the activities carried out throughout the year. Eight teachers, parents and guardians, director of Escola Primaria dos Palmeiras, representative of the Municipal Council of Beira – CMB, AMOR team and partners were also present.
