Visita Mandruzi“We like to work with AMOR, it left an important mark in this center, as it benefited more than 90% of the resettled people, and we saw that the ´trash` has the power to transform lives” – João Ricardo, head of the first block.

These and more words of thanks and praise that the Mozambican Recycling Association (AMOR) received from the beneficiaries of the Integrated Waste Management Project (GIRR), implemented by AMOR, financed by UNDP, at the meeting held on the 3rd of the current month, in Dondo, at the Mandruzi Resettlement Center.

These are populations affected by cyclone IDAI, where AMOR, with the help of beneficiaries, built the Waste Treatment Center (CTR), and taught them about solid waste management and that organic waste can be used for production agricultural inputs, aiming to promote sustainable agriculture in the country.

3 In this sense, Seven leaders were present, heads of seven quarters under the guidance of AMOR’s coordinator, Michel Barrucand and project manager, Alfredo Zunguze, who sought to know from the leaders the level of satisfaction with the implementation of the project in order to maintain a relationship healthy and lasting.
