AMOR – Mozambican Recycling Association, within the scope of the existing partnership with the Provincial House of Culture, has been developing several activities that promote culture, with emphasis on the Visual Arts and Recycling Course which began on June 8th of the year in course, in the city of Beira.
The action is developed under the light of the project “Citizens Friends of Environment” implemented by AMOR and financed by the European Union, which aims to enhance local culture using art applied to the Environment and Citizenship, involving public and private institutions.
This course includes 20 students from AMOR partner schools, belonging to the Environment and Citizenship Clubs (CACs) where they will have the opportunity to learn how to produce arts based on recyclable products, learn theatre and dance and, at the end, present to the public their arts.
The opening of the course was attended by those responsible for AMOR, namely: the coordinator (Michel Barrucand), the project manager (Alfredo Zunguze), the project assistant (Adelina Vilanculos) and those responsible for the Provincial House of Culture, the director (Anacleto) and the teacher (Francisco) and the students.
