As part of the launch of the waste purchase initiative at Mangal da Praia Nova, in the city of Beira, the Mozambican Recycling Association-AMOR, in partnership with the Municipality of Beira and ICC – International Coastal Cleanup, held a waste purchase at Praia Nova, in the city of Beira, yesterday, October 28, 2023.
This activity was attended by around 165 people and approximately 18 tons of waste was collected and sent to the Munhava dump.
Following the invitation to the private sector to join the cause by donating 1.50MT, we would like to thank the Beira City Council, the ICC-International Coastal Cleanup, Proferragem and Mr. Dick for their local support. We hope that together we can once again work and contribute to the clean-up of the mangrove swamp.
