As part of the project “Citizens Friends of the Environment” implemented by AMOR – Mozambican Recycling Association and financed by the European Union, AMOR, in partnership with the Provincial House of Culture of Sofala, has been developing since the 8th of June of this year, in Beira City, the Visual Arts and Recycling Course.
With the aim of valuing local culture using art applied to the Environment and Citizenship, the 20 students of the Environment and Citizenship Clubs from AMOR partner schools have shown talent in creating articles and dedication in the classes taught by Professor Francisco and his assistants.
Recycling is important both for the Environment and for people, it is an ongoing action of collecting and processing waste that would otherwise be thrown away as garbage, but which can be reused and transformed into new products.
