Yesterday, the 24th of this month, the third meeting of the Coordination Committee took place at the Beira Municipal Council for Urban Management, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, within the scope of the Environmentally Friendly Citizens project (CAA) implemented by AMOR – Mozambican Recycling Association and funded by the European Union.
During the meeting, AMOR presented the report of the previous meeting, the indicators of the CAA project and the proposal for the Communication Plan for the Linha Verde (a telephone line that allows interaction between citizens and the Municipal Council of Beira – CMB for matters of waste management in the various garbage containers existing in the neighbourhoods.
For this, partners such as: CMB, Provincial Directorate for Territorial Development and Environment of Sofala, Consórcio Associações com Moçambique – CAM, Horizont 3000, 3R, FACE Association and ESSOR were present.
