DIA DA MULHER MOÇAMBICANAMozambican Women’s Day is celebrated on the 7th of April each year. On the occasion, it is remembered the anniversary of the death of Josina Machel (1945-1971), wife of Samora Machel (1933-1986), the first president of Mozambique after independence. Josina, who joined the National Liberation Armed Fight at a young age, is highlighted as a heroine of Mozambique, for fighting for her country’s independence, in addition to being an inspiration for the Mozambican women’s movement.

Allusive to this day, AMOR – Mozambican Recycling Association, wishes all Mozambican women a happy day full of achievements.

It should be noted that AMOR has contributed to the growth and empowerment of women through the implementation of Circular Economy projects; Formation of Savings Groups; Entrepreneurship and others.
